Koh Phi Phi Hotels, Guesthouses and Resorts

Whether you’re a budget backpacker, 18-35 raver, honeymooner, or holidaying with your family, you can find accommodation options on Koh Phi Phi to suit all pocket sizes and purse strings.

Thankfully the island has divided itself into the different guest groups with the main stretch at Lo Dalum welcoming the youthful all-nighters, while Long Beach is a safe option for families and those with slightly more to spend on quieter hotels and resorts catering for rest and relaxation. The northeastern part of the island is famously even more secluded and is usually a number one choice for honeymooners or those feeling a bit fancy, with luxury upmarket resorts around the beautiful Laem Thong beach.

Budget

Koh Phi Phi’s budget accommodation has increased triple fold over the last few years and you will be overwhelmed with choice if you’re looking to spend as little as possible.

If your prerogative is to be ‘in the midst of it’ then we recommend Ibiza House, perfectly positioned on Lo Dalum beach – complete with its own pool and views overlooking the bay – and you’re a stone’s throw from the music come nightfall. Clean and modern dorms start at THB400. Alena Dorm Room is another great option for those looking for dorm accommodation, with rooms from THB200, located near Ton Sai pier (Moo 7). If you are looking for something more private, you can easily find budget double rooms or bungalows at Jungle Hill Bungalows, a ten-minute walk from the centre of Ton Sai village. Rooms start from around THB470.

Mid-range

We suggest you head towards Long Beach for affordable luxury and mid-range options for your stay on Ko Phi Phi.

Paradise Pearl Bungalow is a great place to stay with your loved one(s) offering great hospitality and service, as well as privacy in standalone bungalows located amid the tropical gardens. Tastefully decorated in a contemporary Thai interior, they are clean and won’t break the bank with prices from THB3,000.

The hidden gem, Rantee Beach on the east side of the island, is another great place for quiet seclusion as it’s only accessible by boat. We love Rantee Cliff Beach Resort with its bamboo bungalows nestled upon the hill or down at the beach, with endless views over the Andaman Sea. Rooms include AC, hot water, breakfast, and wifi and you’re only looking at THB4,000 in the high season for a sea view bungalow.

Top end

If you really want to blow the budget, Koh Phi Phi is just the place. Up on the isolated north-eastern side of the island you will be able to indulge in shameless opulence at a handful of resorts to choose from. One of our top picks is Zeavola on Laem Thong, an eco-friendly resort for the environmentally conscious holidaymaker, or honeymooner. The bungalows are decorated to blend in with the surroundings, and inside you’ll be wowed with dark woods, exotic furnishings, and plush bedding. The resort even has its own dive centre and onsite spa, too. In high season you can look to spend around THB11,000.

Another extravagant option is Outrigger on Lo Bakao beach, a stunning stretch of sand with shallow waters, making it a great option for those with young kids. Renamed from the Phi Phi Island Village Resort, it’s a popular place for families or honeymooners with its idyllic setting in (what feels like) total isolation. Facilities include an infinity pool, tennis court, golf, yoga, and numerous bars and restaurants – so you’ll never need to leave! Rooms range from around THB8,000 to THB18,000 in the high season.
