Jaipur India – 5 Hotels to Stay in the City
Before visiting Jaipur it’s advisable to book your accommodation. Jaipur is attractive to tourists during the whole year, so there may be a possibility of scarce accommodation choices if you don’t do it in advance. Depending on your travelling style, you can find many budget or luxury hotels. Even the cheapest hostels offer a free Wi-Fi and great garden or city views. We’re going to share some of the most interesting accommodation options in Jaipur.
Budget Accommodation
If you travel on a tight budget, you can still find optimal accommodation. You will get an acceptable room for a reasonable price. Jaipur, regarding accommodation, is a backpacker and budget-traveller friendly city.
Hotel Kalyan (59 Hathroi Fort Ajmer Road) is one of the most interesting hotels for travellers on a tight budget. You can get a double room for around 500INR per night with amazing views and free Wi-Fi. The hotel has a restaurant which is located on the roof so that you can enjoy traditional food looking at the city.
Another hotel we would love to recommend is Chitra Katha (60 Hathroi Fort, Hari KishanSomani Marg). This one has comfortable rooms at affordable prices and the rate for a single room starts at 600INR per night. The rooms are equipped with A/C and free Wi-Fi. There is also access to the rooftop where you can sit and enjoy the fort view. Don’t forget to order traditional Rajasthani food there.
Mid-Range Accommodation
For travellers who want to have more amenities in the hotel, there is an interesting offer of mid-range priced hotels around the city. We were amazed how many amenities like a pool, rooftop restaurant and more you can get for a ridiculous price in Jaipur.
One of our favourite hotels is Umaid Bhawan (Behari Marg, Bank Road). The rooms and the whole complex look luxurious and you won’t regret a single penny spent. You get free breakfast as well as a rooftop access, Wi-Fi, an outdoor pool and a beautiful garden. The starting price for a double room is 3000INR per night.
Another hotel we liked a lot is called Pride Amber Vilas Resort (12 Mile, Tonk Road). The hotel is located in the city center and every attraction is very close to it. The rooms look spacious and comfortable designed like a royal palace. Many amenities are available on site, including an outdoor pool, spa, gym, daily housekeeping and much more. And yeah, their free breakfast is delicious!
Top End
If you’re very attentive while booking the hotel and the money isn’t a problem, you will simply enjoy your stay in Jaipur. In every city around the world, you can expect a great value for luxury accommodation, but Jaipur is a bit different. If you stay in a luxury hotel, you can expect to sleep in a palace like the royal family is used to. It’s simply an amazing experience.
SUJAN Rajmahal Palace (Sardar Patel Marg) is the name of the hotel that looks like a royal palace. The interior looks magnificent and the rooms are comfortable and give you that royal feeling. Breakfast is included and you also get access to a big pool and constant help of the friendly staff. The amazing information about this hotel is that there are many cultural and traditional events organized there. You can also get a chance to see the royal family there as they usually have an event with their participation. For royal accommodation, be ready to pay around 15000INR for a night.
