We were supposed to be dropped off at 5am. we picked this bus so we didn’t need to pay for a hostel. Then at 3 am we got told to get into a taxi and at 4am we arrived. not great having to squeeze into a taxi and be dropped off not at the correct time. They also have the wrong pick up address on the website. We went to the one they proved on 12GoAsia and they told me i was in the wrong place. however they did pick us up.

Train left on time and arrived early. The train itself was old but had A/C as well as snacks and meals sold onboard. Overall it was a good experience.

We travelled about 2hrs from Hanoi to Tam Coc, our driver was excellent throughout. He arrived 10 mins before the pick up time in a clean, comfortable 4x4 and drove very safely and professionally the whole journey. When we stopped at about the hour mark, he even bought us some pringles, which was a really nice gesture. We had an excellent journey and would certainly recommend the driver and servicer.

Overbooked first car, so a girl had to sit og her boyfriends lap... Took os to another company in Hanoi to real minibus The ride from Hanoi to Ninh Binh was fine, in the promised "Limousine Van" with good A/C and a bottle of water. No stops tho, and crazy driving, even more crazy than other drivers. From Ninh Binh to Tao Coc was yet another car, but this ride was fine. Overall a wierd experience, drivers knew no English and the first two drove like crazy.

The bus was delayed and there was a bit of disorganization, but that is something that happens frequently here in Southeast Asia. But overall, it was fine.

Car was great. However, the rest of the experience was horrible. We get picked up and then pursue to pick up the rest of the people who is driving with us. I understand that this is part of the service, but it took as long as the trip itself as we were the first to get picked up. More than an hour in Hanoi morning traffic. We finally get to the Van, which have to get us to Tam coc. This van was great as said before, but when the driver chooses to drive more than 210km/h and uses the horn everytime he passes another car, then the comfort is not compensating the slighest bit. A side note for recommendation - please give some guidelines on how to behave as a pasenger. There was a guy doing multiple phone calls (around 10), screaming into the phone on every call. I get you want to kill time, and you are of course allowed to talk on the phone or it might be nessecary - But calling your whole family and friends - and then ignore the fact that there are other people in the van who doesn’t give one damn, then please recommend them to buy there own private transportation if they are that important.
