Hua Hin Hotels, Guesthouses and Resorts

As a general rule of thumb, the closer you are to the beachfront in Hua Hin the more likely it is that you’ll find something that will suit you as there are a great deal of hotels in this particular area due to it being one of the tourist hotspots.

However, we found plenty of other areas that might just be up your street, whether you’re looking for something cheap, something expensive or between the two, Hua Hin has it covered.

Budget

There is a good selection of cheap places to stay at around the beachside area. Just take a few streets back and you will see the prices marked down quite a bit. We suggest taking a look at All Nations Guesthouse as it had a fun atmosphere with rooms clean and spacious and costs under THB600 a night.

The Fat Cat Guesthouse is nearby and we thought the friendly staff was a good reason to note this one down as well having fans, a common room and comfy beds.

Towards the centre you will find Les Bobo’s Backpacer hostel and Tid Tarad Hostel (both THB400), both of which have good reputations and the locations are excellent with short walks to markets and the bus station.

At the northern end of the city around Soi 51, you will find some more budget options including Naab K Heart hotel and Hua Hin Place Guesthouse, which have clean rooms for around THB600.

Mid-range

There are midrange options all over the city and you can select from being close to the beach, in the centre or at one of the ends of the city.

Just away from the beach you will find Chalelarn hotel, which is easy to find because it stands out as it is one of the newest along the street. Prices start from THB700 and this includes clean and spacious rooms, balconies, internet and more.

Further towards the centre you will find My Place Hua Hin, which is one of the better looking hotels along Amnuaysin Road and has some good amenities and a good reputation.

In the more relaxing northern area of the city, we advise on checking out Baan Talay Chine (THB1200), which is close to the Naeb Kehardt palace and boasts a very private section of the beach. Another one we liked was Green Gallery Beach hotel (THB1500) as it faced the beach and every room had its own unique theme as well as having a swimming pool.

Top end

As expected the main cluster of top quality and luxury hotels can be found close to the beach, where you will have a good choice to pick from. On Damnern Kasem Road, you will find one of the most impressive resorts in the country as it is home to the Centara Grand Beach Resort (THB7000). It is one of the most historic and aesthetically pleasing hotels and most rooms consist of mahogany floors, silk curtains, marble features, huge baths and much more. It also includes four massive swimming pools, a fitness centre, a museum, a playground and various drinking and dining options.

Hilton Hua Hin Resort (THB4500) intimidates most other places that are around it and is the only other place that competes with Centara. The Hilton has huge balconies, whilst giving you some of the best views of the city and is something the Centara doesn’t have. The rooms are large and have polished wood floors and have all the modern things you’d expect a luxury hotel to have. The gigantic swimming pool is found at the back of the hotel and stretches all the way to the beach and there is a spa, fitness centre, tennis court, pub and restaurant.
