Feed Your Travel Bugs to Some Inspiring Blogs about Thailand

From today, Thailand is under a state of emergency. All travels are highly discouraged. Use this time to plan your trips for the 'after-COVID-19' period. We would like to share some resources which inspire us to travel far and wide across Thailand – hope you'll love them, too.

  1. UnseenThailand posts both in Facebook and Instagram (@unseentourthailand). We love their wonderful photos of locations less known in Thailand. The only disappointment is that posts are in Thai only, but pictures talk for themselves and Google translate helps to locate the places featured.

    2. Amazing Thailand page on FB and @tourismthailand on Instagram are official resourses of Tourism Authority of Thailand. They publish dates of festivals and oncoming events, schedules of blooming seasons as well as the actual photos from provinces around Thailand with weather forecasts and situation updates.

    3. EDTguide (FB, website), @etdguide on Instagram is arguably our favourite source of insider information about Thailand. They have lists of best accommodations, local restaurants, and cafes in different locations. There are also ready-to-go routes. Their website has an English-language version but it is a far cry of what they have in Thai. Use Google translate.

    4. Richardbarrowthailand (FB), @richardbarrow on Instagram, thaifestivalblogs.com. Richard Barrow is a British expat and teacher living in Samut Prakan for about quarter of a century. Follow him for updates on all the most important issues related to Thailand. He is a great source of information on festival schedules and places to visit, too.

    5. Migrationology (FB, Instagram) is the website, FB and Instagram page of Mark Wiens, one of the most famous food vloggers in the world. His recommendations of where and what to eat in Thailand are simply priceless.

Well, guys, hope this will keep you busy during these stay-home times.

Please share accounts, blogs, vlogs or websites which inspire you to travel in Southeast Asia – TIA and stay safe and healthy!
