Malaysia Year-End Sale Enters Its Homestretch

This year the popular Malaysia Year End Sale (MYES) offers even more great deals and discounts. There are fantastic discounts on a wide range of goods – from fashion items, clothes, and jewellery to accessories and electrical goods. All the major shopping malls across the country take part in MYES with some of the most well-known including Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Sunway Velocity Mall, Intermark Mall, Sunway Pyramid, Midvalley Mega Mall, One Utama and Berjaya Times Square. The festival aims at enhancing Malaysia's position as a shopping hub and also seeks to enlarge the map of shopping destinations within the country for international tourists.

Organazied by Tourism Malaysia, the event yearly draws foreign and domestic tourists. The program of MYES also features a variety of entertainment events like festive performances and New Year countdown celebrations. There will be workshops on Christmas decoration and back-to-school sales, too.

At the same time, Penang additionally hosts the Pesta Pulau Penang, a business fair that showcases consumer goods and business items in a carnival-like environment during the holiday period.
