On November, 25, Vistara will introduce their direct service between Mumbai on India's west coast and Colombo's Bandaranaike International Airport in Sri Lanka. For Vistara, it will be the fourth international destination and the first one in Sri Lanka. The route will be served six days a week except on Wednesday.
Vistara will use its Airbus A320neo aircraft to serve the route and offer passengers a choice of Economy, Premium Economy and Business Class seats.
According to Vistara's Chief Executive Officer, “Sri Lanka is a very promising destination for Vistara, given the growth it continues to record in trade and tourism, especially as India is the largest tourism source market for Sri Lanka. As we bring India’s only five-star airline on the India-Sri Lanka route, we are confident that our entry will further fuel the travel appetite among people.”
Also in November, Vistara will launch two domestic routes: to Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh on November, 5, and to Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala on November, 9. They will follow two other domestic routes laucnhed recently: to Indore in Madhay Pradesh on October, 26, and to Jodhpur in Rajasthan, inaugurated today, October, 29.
