Several parks across China will cut admission fees or offer free entrance to visitors on October, 1, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

A series of parks and other attractions in China have announced special prices for visitors on the National Day of the People's Republic of China celebrated on October, 1. Some venues and attractions will open for free on that day.

In Beijing, the public are invited to visit for free some of the most famous parks and sights of the Chinese capital including Temple of Heaven, Ditan Park, Summer Palace, Beijing Zoo, Taoranting Park, Chaoyang Park, Beijing International Sculpture Park and Beijing Garden Expo Park. Yet visitors will need to book their free tickets in advance as the number of visitors can be limited. Tickets can be reserved via official websites, official applications or WeChat account of the attraction.

Some other visiting sites across the country will make special promotions for visitors.

In Zhejiang, tickets to the Grand Buddha Temple scenic spot which is a 4A level tourist destination, will cost 80 RMB, 20 RMB less than usually.

The provincial development and reform department in Henan province addressed relevant authorities to reduce prices for some 4A- and 5A-level scenic areas on National Day, too.
