Majestic Tourist Train to Show Rajasthan to Railway Travel Buffs

In a bid to promote rail tourism, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has recently launched a special luxury Majestic Tourist Train equipped with the state-of-the-art facilities and providing the high level of comfort for travellers.

The new luxury train has two itineraries on offer, both focusing on destinations in Rajasthan state – Majestic Rajasthan and Majestic Rajasthan with Taj Mahal. Both package tours include on-train accommodation, international meals, and paid entrance tickets for the sights featured in the program.

Majestic Rajasthan is a 5 days/4 nights program that calls to Mandawa, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, and Jaipur. It will run once a month starting from November 2019 till April 2020.

Majestic Rajasthan with Taj Mahal follows a similar itinerary but counter-clockwise: from Agra to Jaipur, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer. The first tour is scheduled for September 2019 with monthly tours till March 2020.

Both tour programs start from and end in Delhi. Prices for packages are from USD210 per person per night.

There are two restaurants serving Indian and international cuisine, a kitchen, bathrooms with hot and cold water showers on board the train. There are first and second AC cars with a separate sitting area in second AC compartments to allow travellers to enjoy the journey to its fullest.
