Perhaps Cambodia will become the first country in Asia with solar-powered tuk-tuks, because rights there Australian green energy company Star 8 is going to build first factory of it.

As company’s director Jacob Maimon said, the price for a new revolutionary vehicles will be about US$1,865. With a full charge solar-powered tuk-tuks is able to cover 120 km with a top speed of 50 km per hour.

In spite of many Asian countries are interested in new tuk-tuks, new technologies would be employed in Cambodia first so far as renewable energy is one of the country’s most important and developing industries.
