Binh Thuan Encourages Tourists to Visit during Summer

The Tourism Association of Binh Thuan together with the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism have initiated a summer promotion campaign to attract more visitors. It is high time to visit Binh Thuan for less money!

Binh Thuan province located in the South Central Coast of Vietnam, boasts picturesque scenery and great beaches. Some of the most popular destinations in Binh Thuan are the provincial capital of Phan Thiet and the kitesurfing and windsurfing capital of Vietnam, a small fishing village of Mui Ne

In the first six months of 2018 the province has welcomed over 2.6 mln visitors showing an impressive 11% growth over the same period of the previous year. Almost 80% of all the visitors are foreign tourists with the main source countries being China, Russia, Korea and Thailand. They generated the revenue of about USD 279 mln.

Before the end of the year Binh Thuan is planning to receive 3.15 mln tourists more. To make these plans come true, the local authorities encourage hotels and tour agencies to run summer promotions to make tourists choose Binh Thuan over other destinations for their vacation escape.

At the same time, the authorities are putting efforts into raising the standards of service in tourism sector all around province and stimulate the development of tourism-friendly environment.
