Holiday Inn Express to Open on Koh Larn, Pattaya This Year

Holiday Inn Express Koh Larn will open on the favourite beach island escape in Pattaya later this year. It is probably the best sign that Koh Larn, step by step, is becoming the destination of its own.

It is not yet decided whether the resort will be converted from the already existing Sealay Resort Koh Larn or will occupy a newly built block. It will anyway be located on the Tawen Beach, one of the most popular and busiest beachs of the island with an adjacent huge pier and an easy access to a variety of eating and shopping options as well as Bangkok Hospital Koh Larn Clinic.

InterContinental Hotels Group, which owns several other hotel brands besides Holiday Inn, is also planning to open 7 more new resorts and hotels in other tourist destinations along the Eastern Seaboard and the Andaman Coast within 5-10 year period. There is one more Holiday Inn Resort planned to appear near Naban pier on Koh Larn; Pattaya will also see two new properties: Holiday Inn Resort in the far south close to the Amazon Cartoon Network Water Park and Staybridge Suits in the north. Holiday Inn Resorts will be opened in Rayong and Khao Lak with Holiday Inn Express to be built in Phuket, Kata Beach and Koh Samui, Chaweng Beach.

The whole project will be carried out in partnership with Ratanakorn Asset, a reputable Thai real estate company operating mainly in Pattaya, Chonburi and Rayong areas.
