El Nido and Davao Become Closer with New AirSWIFT Route

A Filippino-owned boutique airline AirSWIFT founded in 2002 has started bookings for new flights between El Nido, a real pearl of the Philippines, and Davao, the ‘Durian Capital of the Philippines’ which begin in May.

ATR 42-600, the most modern turboprop in the world, taking 48 passengers will fly three days a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from May 22. Take off from El Nido is at 11.25 a.m. and the return flight departs from Davao at 2.10 p.m.

According to travel agents the service to El Nido is in great demand as now the only way to get there from Davao is via Manila. Meanwhile El Nido attracts tourists by its unique ecosystems, the opportunity to observe wildlife in natural habitat. There is a turtle sanctuary and a marine reserve. One can watch exotic birds found only here. Snorkeling will captivate you when you see fifty species of coral and the variety of marine life. Kayaking around beautiful lagoons, beaches and caves will bring you closer to nature.

AirSWIFT offers the highest standards of quality, safety and personalised attitude from friendly professional crews. Flights to Puerto Princesa and Tagbilaran are also planned.
