Chiang Mai Airport to be expanded

Due to a surge of interest in Chiang Mai International Airport among Chinese tourists The Airports of Thailand decided to expand it.

 
Due to a surge of interest in Chiang Mai International Airport among Chinese tourists The Airports of Thailand decided to expand it. The expansion involves the construction of OTOP centre, reconstruction of the toilets, the expansion of domestic arrivals and international departures halls and adding an apron for large aircraft.

As the general manager said, the work should be completed during the 2014 year. The expansion will promote the positioning Chiang Mai Airport as the second  gateway in Thailand after Bangkok.

China extends visa-free entry to 12 European countries

China has extended visa-free travel to Poland, Australia, and New Zealand until the end of 2025.
