Transport Ministry of Vietnam strengthens control under public buses

As the head of the Transport Department in Vietnam, Khuat Viet Hung said, frequent cases of traffic violations forced the Authorities to strengthens control under public buses.

As the head of the Transport Department in Vietnam, Khuat Viet Hung said, frequent cases of traffic violations forced the Authorities to strengthens control under public buses.

Ministry of Transport will introduce its resolution in March. It involves suspension of bus companies’ operations for up to three months if vehicles pick up and drop off passengers in the wrong place or they exceed the speed limit. Business license will be also revoked if companies offer less than 70% of their registered routes in a month.
