Heavy floods threaten road traffic in Kudus, Central Java. The northern coastal highway was paralyzed yesterday.

Heavy floods threaten road traffic in Kudus, Central Java. The northern coastal highway was paralyzed yesterday, when the road was inundated in 1 meter-high floodwater. The sector around the T-junction near Jati Kudus terminal became impassable.

A lot of traffic congestion were noted on the way to Surabaya and between Demak and Kudus. According to drivers waiting on some part of the road reached 12 hours. Traffic police warn drivers to use alternative roads, but they are suitable only for medium-sized vehicles.
