The number of river boats in Bangkok will be increased on 13th Jan

In preparation to the Bangkok's shutdown on 13 January because of the mass Thai opposition demostration Marine Department decided to increase the number of boats to ease transportation around the city.

In preparation to the Bangkok's shutdown on 13 January because of the mass Thai opposition demostration Marine Department decided to increase the number of boats to ease transportation around the city.

Chao Phraya Express Boat Co and Krobkrua Khonsong Co will add more boats and increase the frequency of their services. Additional boats will be available at 7 piers: Pak Kret, Sathon, Rama V, Rama VII, Wanglang, Kiakkai and Nonthaburi.

Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) will also offer special buses from piers to nearby bus stops and BTS Skytrain stations.
