Kuala Lumpur public transport will work longer in New Year's Eve

To serve the increased number of passengers in New Year's Eve RapidKL bus and rail services in Kuala Lumpur will be available longer than usual.

To serve the increased number of passengers in New Year's Eve RapidKL bus and rail services will be available longer than usual. The public transport in Kuala Lumpur will work until 2AM 1 January except LRT and monorail stations which will be opened until 1AM.

Moreover the transport companies are ready the extend working schedule if it will be necessary in other days during New Year holidays and to add more trains and buses.

As Lim Jin Aun, executive vice-president of Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad, added “ It would be best for commuters to travel with MyRapid cards to ensure smooth passage and to ensure that the cards were reloaded at the entry stations”.
