Thailand will ease transportation system in the New Year holidays

To cope with crowds of passengers during New Year holidays the State Railway of Thailand and the Transport Company plans to launch additional trains and buses without fees.

To cope with crowds of passengers during New Year holidays the State Railway of Thailand and the Transport Company plans to launch additional trains and buses without fees.

The Land Transport Department will open free checks of vehicles, because the New Year is a popular time for travelling not only among foreigners but among Thais also. Around 2,250 make-shift service stations will be opened along the main highways of the country.

The tolls on the Buravithi expressway will be cancelled during 27 December – 3 January.
