Thailand plans to ban alcohol on the trains

To reduce incidents of sexual harassment and violence the Anti-Alcohol Organization applied to the Public Health Ministry of Thailand to ban the sale of alcohol at the stations and in the trains.

To reduce incidents of sexual harassment and violence the leader of Anti-Alcohol Organization, Songkran Pakchokdee applied to the Public Health Ministry of Thailand to ban the sale of alcohol at the stations and in the trains.

At this time the Transport Ministry is waiting for the decision by the Health Ministry. As expected, passengers soon will have nothing to brighten up the long hours of waiting of the slow Thai trains.
