New high-speed railway between Bangkok and Hua Hin

To conform the increasing number of developed cities and to provide safety new station was planned for the 209-kilometre of the high-speed railway connecting Bangkok to Hua Hin.

To conform the increasing number of developed cities and to provide safety new station was planned for the 209-kilometre of the high-speed railway connecting Bangkok to Hua Hin.

The railroad originally should be at the place preset southern railway, but in the course of the project it was decided to make some changes. The  98-billion baht high-speed railway will be also equipped with new stations in tambon Thong Chai sub-district of Phetchaburi province and in tambon Khu Bua sub-district of Ratchaburi province. The part of the roadway will be constructed parallel with Phetkasem Highway and next to the existing railroad.

The cost of the one way trip from Bangkok to Hua Hin will be about 550 baht.
