The best low cost airline in Southeast Asia Air Asia took a big step in its development and became the first in Malaysia be granted the RNP-AR APCH flight operations approval.

The best low cost airline in Southeast Asia Air Asia took a big step in its development and became the first in Malaysia be granted the RNP-AR APCH flight operations approval.

RNP-AR APCH technology is the Required Navigation Performance Authorization Required Approach, it promotes the reduction of noise pollution, fuel burn and exhaust emissions and also the decrease of flight delays and alleviating air traffic congestion.

RNP AR APCH technology contributes reduction the distance and time of flight which directly affects the total cost of the flights.  As Air Asia Authorities said, they will be also able to save on fuel costs and to offer lower fees for passengers.
