Thai authorities promote the wearing of helmets

With a view to reduce road accidents and to improve safety The Thai Health Promotion Foundation (THPF) started a program encouraging the use of helmets.

With a view to reduce road accidents and to improve safety The Thai Health Promotion Foundation (THPF) started a program encouraging the use of helmets.

According to statistics the cause of death accidents is often a lack of helmet. Every hour one motorcycle driver dies on the Thai road because of it.

THPF cooperates with 26 organizations to promote the wearing of helmets. They try to achieve a result in 100% cases. Now only 43% of drivers use helmets.
