Air Asia has received the title The Best Budget Airline

Once again the Malaysia-based carrier Air Asia was awarded as “World’s Leading Low-Cost Airline of this year”. The competition was conducted by World Travel Awards, popular travel website.

Earlier Air Asia also received the awards  “World’s Leading Low-Cost Airline 212”, “World’s Leading Airline to Asia 2010”, “Asia’s Leading Budget/No Frills Airline categories 2007” and others.

Datuk Aziz Bakar director of Air Asia personally received the award and said that recognition is very important for the company. Air Asia plans to increase its influence in the SEA region and in Dubai, one of the biggest transportation hubs in the world.
