The Halim Perdanakusuma Airport will support the main Airport of Jakarta

 To support the main Airport of Indonesia Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta Halim Perdanakusuma Airport will start to serve commercial flights in January next year.

To support the main Airport of Indonesia Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta Halim Perdanakusuma Airport will start to serve commercial flights in January next year with capacity three flights per hour.

As state-owned airport operator said almost all things such as check-in counters and parking lots are completed already. The renovation of Airport cost US$584,800.

A lot of airlines including Lion Air, Garuda Indonesia, Batik Air, Citilink Indonesia and Tigerair Mandala confirmed their readiness to move some flights to Halim Perdanakusuma Airport. Now it used by Air Force, state officials and for chartered flights.
