South part of Thai Railway is hit by torrential rain

For already some days the work of South Thai Railway is temporarily suspended after some damages because of heavy rain. Trains were cancelled until the weather conditions will improve.

For already some days the work of South Thai Railway is temporarily suspended after some damages because of heavy rain.

Trains to and from Hat Yai and Sungai Kolok in nearby Narathiwat province were cancelled until the weather conditions will improve. The bridge between Baan Ta Pad and Tepa rail stations was also damaged.

The local Administrations are monitoring the situation 24-hours and are ready for evacuation if it's necessary.
