Taxis in Bangkok are named among the best in the world

 According to the Hotels.com and its annual global taxi survey Bangkok’s taxi service was ranked among Top Ten in the world.

In the past Bangkok’s taxis got a lot of complaints of passengers, but thanks to the capital Authorities’ efforts their rankings in recent times have risen significantly. According to the Hotels.com and its annual global taxi survey Bangkok’s taxi service was ranked among Top Ten in the world.

The selection was conducted by tourists and travellers from more than 30 countries and 28 cities of the world. They based on seven valuation parameters, such as availability, value, friendliness, cleanliness, safety, drivers’ knowledge of the area and quality of driving.  Bangkok took 8th place in the annual survey and additionally was awarded honorable mention for best value.
