Developer proposes adventure and entertainment complex for Dalat

A local developer has submitted an application to build an entertainment complex near the Vietnamese highlands town of Dalat. Dalattourist Company has sent the proposal to build a multi-facility leisure and adventure park to the People’s Committee in Lam Dong Province.

According to the draught proposal, the self-contained park will be constructed near Thac Datanla Waterfall and will cost a little over VND300 billion (approximately US$14 million). The park will feature adventure rides, a sports centre, eateries, leisure facilities and an internal transportation system.

If the application gets the green light, building will start before year’s end and the tentative date for completion is 2020. The new facility will have to comply with recently introduced health and safety regulations established by the People’s Committee to ensure the wellbeing of tourists.

Known as the city of eternal spring, Dalat’s natural environment and access to outdoor pursuits has made it a popular destination for domestic and international tourists. Dalat is accessible from Ho Chi Minh City, Mui Ne and Nha Trang. 12GO ASIA provides ticketing services for buses plying these routes.
