The junior championships are seen as a training ground for future Asian Games and Olympic sailing event competitors. Several former competitors, including Noppakao Poonpat, have since starred in senior yacht competitions.
The Ocean Marina junior yachting regatta will run between Saturday 30 April and Monday 2 May. People heading down to Pattaya or Jomtien for the event and looking for convenience when buying travel tickets will find 12GO ASIA the optimum choice.
