The fair in Nan is the third and it is a celebration of Nan Province’s textile and silverware handicraft industries. Local artisans display their products and visitors also have the chance of purchasing from the OTOP (One Tambon One Product) stalls at the fair.
Other event highlights are tutorials detailing the process of making silver jewellery and fabrics, traditional visual arts performances and seeing local musicians. This year’s fair is being combined to promote the colourful blossoms of the locally grown chompoo phukhan which are in flower at this time of year.
