One time Guns N’ Roses guitarist tours Thai rock venues

One-time Guns N’ Roses guitar maestro Bumblefoot is set to kick off a series of gigs at select venues in the Kingdom of Thailand this Friday. The guitarist, whose real name is Ron Blumenthal, is set to take to the stage at The Papa Rock Bar in the northern city of Chiang Mai on Friday evening.

After that, Bumblefoot will be heading south and has three dates scheduled for the following week.  The first one is in Pattaya on 11 February and the venue is the Siam Country Club. The second one is the night after at the Whiteline in Bangkok.

Following the Bangkok date, it is back to Pattaya to play a set at the Burapa Pattaya Bike Week. Tickets for the Whiteline gig are THB400 and the doors open at 19:00. This concert will also feature rock band Degaruda, the gentler numbers of John Will Sail and The Ginkz.

Bumblefoot replaced Brian Buckethead Carroll in Guns N’ Roses in 2006 and played with the band until 2014. He has since released collaboration albums with Tony Harnell and The Wildflowers and Art of Anarchy.
