The two have been named by police as Camille Charlotte Prymann, 25, from Austria and Adrianna Martin, 20, from the US. Video shot by a witness showed the duo hanging out of a car’s rear windows while dancing. The car was passing through Patong, the nightlife centre of Phuket, at 21:00 on 2 January.
Police traced the number-plate of the SUV to an address in nearby Rawai. When police contacted the owner he said a friend had borrowed it. The borrower in turn named the women. Police say that they took the pair to a local police station where they were given lessons on suitable behaviour when visiting Thailand. They were also charged with indecently exposing themselves and had to pay THB500 fines.

Two farang women filmed dancing topless on Thailand’s southern Phuket Island have been given a lesson on Thai etiquette by local police. Police mounted a search for the two foreign nationals after a video of them performing their raunchy dance went viral on social media websites.
