Bangkok motor show pulls in record numbers of car fans

The 32nd international motor show in Bangkok has pulled in record numbers of visitors since it launched last Wednesday. The annual show is staged at the Impact Muang Thong Thani exhibition and events complex in the Nonthaburi area of Bangkok

Car manufacturers such as Honda, Toyota and Mazda are showcasing their newest models at the event and all report increased orders when compared to previous years. Subaru has brought its brand new XV and this has garnered lots of admiring glances.

The expo is not just limited to cars since most of the premium motorcycle makers are represented. These include Triumph, Enfield and Kawasaki. Austria’s KTM has brought its RC 250 and Duke 250 over to the delight of foreign and Thai bike enthusiasts.

Thailand International Motor Expo 2015 runs until 13 December. Standard opening hours are 12:00 to 22:00 on weekdays. On weekends, the doors open one hour earlier at 11:00.

IMPACT Muang Thong Thani is not on Bangkok’s public train services, but is on numerous bus routes. The most convenient access points are Don Muang Train Station or Mo Chit BTS Station.
