Thai fun draws place highly in TripAdvisor Asia annual awards

Several Thai attractions received high rankings in the annual TripAdvisor amusement amenity awards for Asia released earlier this week. The awards were based on reviewer’s ratings for fun draws in the genres of aquariums, zoos, water-parks and amusement parks.

Two Thai zoos appeared in the top ten in this genre and both are within easy range of Pattaya. Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Si Racha took the number two spot and the Pattaya Crocodile Farm and Five Million Years Stone Park snatched the number five spot. First place went to Singapore Zoo.

In keeping with Thailand’s balmy climate, it has a good selection of water-parks and two of these showed up in the top ten in this category. Hua Hin’s Black Mountain Water Park came third and Koh Samui’s Coco Splash Adventure and Waterpark fifth. Waterbom Bali was the top Asian water-park for 2015.

SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World scraped in at number ten in the aquarium table. Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium topped the awards for this genre. Thailand’s amusement parks did not feature and this category was won by Singapore’s Universal Studios. 12GO Asia can provide you with tickets for travel to Pattaya, Koh Samui, Hua Hin and many other destinations in Thailand.
