Nashik India – 11 Best Hotels to Stay
Nashik has a wide range of places to stay from cheap hotels with basic facilities to five star luxury hotels both in the city centre and surrounding it. Near the city, there are several vineyards with resorts that provide unique accommodation allowing guests to combine a love for wine with a luxurious stay.
Budget
As Nashik is an important religious destination for Hindus, it has a good collection of hotels that, to cater to pilgrims, have a cheap tariff and basic, no-frills facilities. Most of these hotels can be found in Panchavati, a holy area in the city which has several sites of interest. The tariff at these hotels is typically under INR1500 per night; here are some budget friendly hotels one can make a reservation at:
1.Hotel Panchavati Yatra
Hotel Panchavati Yatra is at the centre of Panchavati on MG Road. One room per night is, on average, INR 1200 and promises you a clean room with attached bathroom, included breakfast, free parking and WiFi. We’ve found the staff to be extremely friendly and appreciate the hotel’s central location; most temples in the Panchavati area are within walking distance.
2. Hotel Samrat
Right next to the Siddheshwar Mandir and a ten minute walk from other important temples in the area, Hotel Samrat is a great budget hotel. Its tariff per night is around INR1100 and it offers clean, air-conditioned rooms with attached bathrooms and WiFi. Many travellers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff that go out of their way to accommodate their guests’ needs. Foodies should dine at the restaurant which serves delicious, authentic Maharashtrian fare.
3. Hotel Pooja International
Hotel Pooja International isn’t it the Panchavati area but on Trimbak Road, which is close to the main bus and train station. A single air-conditioned room is INR1200 and includes free parking, free WiFi and a television in each room. In the winter, an air-conditioned room is unnecessary, so one can opt for a non-ac room at INR950 which has the same facilities. Each room has a clean bathroom attached.
4. Hotel Shanti Inn
On the Nashik Pune road, Hotel Shanti Inn is in a great location as its ten minutes from the train and bus station and also near a cinema and several restaurants. The room tariff is up to INR1200 per night for an air-conditioned room and one can be assured clean rooms and friendly service. There’s also a fitness centre but no WiFi.
Mid-Range
As well as budget hotels, there’s a wide range of moderately priced hotels which are spread across the city. With tariffs between INR 1500-3500, these hotels include facilities like air conditioned rooms, complimentary breakfasts, tea and coffee, WiFi and in-hotel restaurants. Here are some of the best:
5. SSK Solitaire Hotel & Banquets
SSK is a hotel in Nashik’s Tidke Colony which has clean, large rooms and a soothing decor. The average tariff for a double room is INR3000 and includes WiFi, complimentary breakfast and laundry services. We loved the hotel’s restaurant which had a live Indian classical band and holds different food festivals through the year. It also has a great coffee shop which is a nice place to unwind after a long day spent sight-seeing.
6. Ibis Nashik
Ibis Nashik is part of the Ibis chain of hotels which are well reputed for their hospitality and service. Ibis Nashik lives up to the expectations with supportive, friendly staff, facilities like a gym, 24/7 room service, an internet corner and complimentary breakfast and spacious, soothingly decorated rooms. The tariff per double room is around INR4000.
The Ibis is also notable because of its convenient location on the Trambakeshwar Road, in Nashik’s outskirts, which guarantees calm, quiet nights but also has easy access to central Nashik and Panchavati.
7. Hotel Espress Inn
Also in the outskirts of Nashik on the Mumbai Agra Highway, Hotel Espress Inn is a family and budget friendly three star hotel. Room prices begin at INR3000 and are spacious and beautifully decorated. Travellers also love the hotel because of the wide range of facilities it has including large lush lawns, a pool, a squash and tennis court, free parking and complimentary breakfast. Guests at the hotel will see many Nashik locals at After Dark, the rooftop restaurant which has a stunning view of the city. We were particularly appreciative of the WiFi which was extremely fast and accessible from anywhere in the hotel.
8. Hotel Rama Heritage
Rama Heritage is a four star hotel at the centre of Nashik and is primarily a business hotel but promises a pleasant stay for all kinds of travellers. It’s considered to be a great value for money hotel with rooms starting at INR1600 and going up to INR3000 which includes a complimentary breakfast. The hotel has a travel desk in the reception which is happy to make arrangements for its guests for tours and car hires.
It should be noted that the hotel’s restaurant is pure vegetarian.
Top End
When it comes to luxury accommodation, Nashik’s city centre has very few options, perhaps due to a lack of space. However, Nashik’s outskirts have plenty of resorts, especially the unique wine resorts which are attached to wineries and promise an elevated experience. Here are some places to make a booking at if you love luxury:
9. The Gateway Hotel Ambad
The Gateway Hotel is a Taj Hotel Group property, which assures travellers first class service and hospitality. The hotel can be found on the Mumbai Agra Road and is nestled in the middle of twenty acres of lawns. It has a host of amnesties aimed at ensuring guests’ comfort and entertainment including a bar, a Jacuzzi, a swimming pool, a health club, a table tennis centre and basketball court and even cricket and football pitches for large groups to play on.
10. Beyond by Sula
Wine connoisseurs and luxury lovers will enjoy a stay at Beyond by Sula, an exclusive resort which has a three bedroom villa and seven rooms which overlook the Gangapur Lake, Sula Vineyards’ main water source. The room tariffs vary on weekdays and weekends (INR7500 from Monday to Thursday and INR 8500 on Friday and Saturday). However, in our opinion they’re well worth the cost for their luxurious appeal.
Facilities in the resort include an infinity pool overlooking the Gangapur Lake, bicycle rides around the lake and vineyard and access to Sula’s multi cuisine restaurant which makes food from fresh produce grown on Sula’s farms.
11. Soma Vine Village
Soma Vine Village promises guests a similarly luxurious option. It has 29 rooms overlooking a large pool and the vineyards beyond and also boasts a spa, amphitheatre, gymnasium and game room. For adventurous guests, it has several exciting activities like rock climbing and zip lining, while guests after a more mellow stay can cycle leisurely through the vineyards.
The tariff begins at INR5000 on weekdays and goes upto INR55,000 for a three bedroom villa. The tariff includes breakfast for two and a winery tour.
